Inexpire started as a way for me to manage food in my pantry. I have ADHD and the executive function issues that often come along with that, and I kept forgetting.
I would forget what food I had already bought. I would forget to eat things before they expired. I was wasting food, medications, and other perishable items simply because out of sight, out of mind.
I quickly realized that with a little bit more effort, Inexpire could help with other executive disfunction areas as well.
To-do lists never worked for me. Reminders never worked for me. Every app I tried made me feel like I was a failure for not getting it. Everyone else uses these apps, why don't they work for ME?!
I built Inexpire from the opposite angle. Instead of tracking the tasks and manually checking them off, I tracked the things instead. It's too easy to say "I am going to put the luggage in the car, CHECK!" and then... never actually do it.
Inexpire isn't a todo list, it's a to DONE list. Change the location of the luggage to "car" and the task automatically completes. No checkbox.
Filling out normal task tracker is tedious. And if you have enough time and attention to fill it all in, you're burned out by the time you're done and that's the end of that.
I built in a whole bunch of Starter Packs, that let you one-click add common items, projects, and tasks for all of the uses I could think of.
And for the custom stuff, Inexpire allows you to import/export Recipes created by yourself or others. Configure it once and share it with your friends!
If this resonates with you, if I am describing you, then Inexpire was made for you! I know that because Inexpire was made for me, and this is my story.
It can be your story too. Give it a try!
